November FairyLoot Unboxing

Ladies that Slay

November FairyLoot Box

It’s time for me to share with you the November 2017 FairyLoot box – Ladies that Slay.
FairyLoot is a brilliant subscription service who curate themed boxes of beautiful items as well as a YA Fantasy hardback book which is shipped to their patrons on a monthly basis.

You can get a FairyLoot box of your own by visiting their website and either picking yourself a subscription (So you never feel the frustration of missing out!) or buying a single box for £26 per month, plus postage and packaging.
Better be quick though – this company is in high demand with previous boxes selling out in 24 hours or less!

As mentioned, November’s theme is ‘Ladies that Slay’ and the first two items included in FairyLoot’s November box are a stunning candle and a delicious smelling tea blend.
Hermione Granger, who of course stems from J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter, has a gorgeous Flick the Wick Candle named after her in this month’s box  – smelling of Vanilla, Lily, Musk, Raspberry and Citrus, this candle is simply stunning.

We can thank Bookish Teas for their delicious tea blend – “Blue’s Brew” inspired by Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater –  blackberries and currents promise a delightful cuppa whilst snuggling up with this month’s book(s)

Next up, there a fantastic book sleeve designed by the extremely talented Aunjuli Art, specifically designed for this box, it features an array of swords and books to represent this month’s theme  – Ladies that Slay. Designed to keep books safe whilst being ferried around by their owners, this sleeve is padded and not only that, the inside lining is waterproof!

There’s not just one, but two books included in November’s FairyLoot box – the first being an ARC (advanced reading copy) of Claire Legrand’s Furyborn which is due to be released in May of 2018.
I’m so excited to read this book, it promises strong leading ladies and the synopsis sounds fantastic!

Tying into the theme with perfection, there’s also a Hunger Games iron-on badge created by Literary Emporium included in this box in honour of Katniss Everdeen, of course. It looks fantastic!

My notebook is soon going to be decorated with the Fight Darkness sticker which was designed by the super talented Reverie and Ink. It’s actually a quote from a book I have yet to read by Sabaa Tahir and it’s called An Ember in Ashes.

Finally, the book this month is Kristen Ciccarelli’s The Last Namsara, it includes fierce some leading ladies and not only that – DRAGONS!
Described as a fantastic epic fantasy, I’m dying to dive into this exclusive FairyLoot edition!

As always, this box includes a few extra bits, including a FairyLoot bookmark, a letter from the author of this month’s book, a signed author-plate and a buddy hashtag.

I love FairyLoot – I’ve been a customer since August 2017 and each and every one of their boxes has been out of this world, I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who enjoys YA fantasy books!
